"Methods and Techniques of Compiling Oral Culture and Folklore Products" Seminar

Celîlê Celîl who is well - known for his works on Kurdish folklore gave a seminar titled “Methods and Techniques of Compiling Oral Culture and Folklore Products” in our Foundation. Celîlê Celîl who has made great contributions to Kurdish literature, history and folklore drew attention to the richness of Kurdish folklore and stated that young researchers should protect this cultural heritage. Celîl, who wanted Kurdish researchers to take an active role in the compilation studies in the field, also emphasized the importance of recording folklore studies. Then he explained how the compilation and archiving work should be done correctly and shared his knowledge and experience from field works with young compilers.
