The third issue of Folklor û Ziman journal has come out. Folklor û Ziman is an international refereed and  academic journal published twice a year under the auspices of  Mesopotamia Foundation. The journal includes academic studies on folklore and Kurdish language.

The third issue of Folklor û Ziman includes articles on folklore and the Kurdish language, book reviews, analysis and transcription. The articles in this issue are as follows: “Kirmanjki Variant of King Odipus and the Limits of Cultural Identity” (Nadîre Guntaş Aldatmaz), “Names of Residence and Geographical Forms in Dêrik Region (An Onomastic Study)” (Serdar Öçal), “Traditional Children Games and Their Continuity in Hakkari Region” (Kenan Subaşı), “Cognitive and Linguistic Development in Early Childhood” (Cemil Güneş), “Molla Mistefa's Manuscript of  “Exercises of Kurdish Language” (Evaluation,Text)” (Mikail Bülbül-Mustafa Öztürk) .

There are also two books in the book introduction part. The first one is “Pîltane” by Nadîre Guntaş Aldatmaz in Kirmanjki– Kurdish introduced by Surya Human. The second book is  " The Sound of a Partridge on Şengal Mountain, A Selection from the Folklore Texts of the Yezidis " by Xêrî Şengalî introduced by Hikmettin Atli.
