The June-July- August issue of the journal “Folklora Me” has been published. There are studies and researches on Kurdish folklore in the pages of “Folklora Me”. There are several articles on Kurdish folklore in this issue.
In this issue of the journal, there are a total of 19 articles, including 2 in Kirmanckî and the rest in Kurmanjî. Celîlê Celîl is collecting oral history and folklore from Bedlis, based on accounts from a dervish from Mardin. Cemîl Şêlazî has studied M.E. Bozarslan's book "Pepûk" and identified examples of the "xifis" motif based on Kurdish traditional beliefs.
Our new writers: Hevrîn Hespistan has compiled a story from Van, Akîf Kaplan has documented two songs from the Botan region, and Melahat Uluç Akinci has collected the 'Salo and Kej' ballad along with its story from Ibrahim Pirik, a dengbêj from Amed.
